Easter Greetings

Easter Greetings

As I watch winter melt into spring, I look at the blooming world around me and can’t help but think of and worship the Author of Creation.

The harmony of the redbuds and forsythias echoes across the land proclaiming to the world that there is in fact a God. The shape of the daffodil closely resembles a trumpet announcing to the world that a resurrection has happened and declaring the death of winter has turned into the life of spring.

I can’t help but look out at creation and see how every flower, tree, and rain shower points to something greater than itself.

“For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” ~Romans 1:20

Unfortunately, I am no stranger of coming up with excuses and worshipping the creatures rather than the Creator.

But it is so hard to ignore the truths that raised me when Spring begins. How can I deny the resurrection when life is being restored to the dead land around me? How can I deny creation when I am seeing the earth bringing forth vegetation? Every season reminds me of God’s glory and work of creation, but Spring…Spring is an exaltation. Exalting to the world what Mary Magdalene announced to the disciple, “I have seen the Lord.”

If you can’t tell, Spring excites me, and I want it to excite you too.

For that reason I have decided to have an Easter sale and giveaway for Verity Letters. Use code “Easter15” at checkout to get 15% off your first month's subscription.
