1. When will Dear Verity Letter be mailed?
Letters will be sent out on the week of the 15th of every month. With holidays, weather, or unforeseen delays, the letters may be sent out before or after the 15th.
2. If I subscribe on or after the 15th, will I still get the letter for that month?
Yes, you will get the letter for the coming month as well as the one you just missed. For example, if you subscribe on August 16th, then for September you will receive August's letter as well as September's.
3. What if my letter is not delivered?
Give your letter up to 6 weeks to arrive. If it has not arrived within that time frame, please contact us through the Contact page. We will send the letter again free of charge.
4. Can I manage my subscription?
Yes, to manage your subscription create an account at checkout. By creating an account you can change your address, payment method, or cancel subscription at anytime free of charge. If you did not create an account, please contact us with your changes.
5. Can Verity Letters be mailed internationally?
We cannot mail Verity Letters internationally at this time.
6. Are the letters fiction or non-fiction?
Dear Verity Letters is historical fiction. The main characters and side characters are fictional, and any resemblance to real people is purely coincidental. However, every place James goes to is highly researched, and some of the people he meets are historical figures.
7. What age group are these letters for?
The letters are written with an educational as well as inspirational focus, so they are for people of most ages. Our hope is that an adult can sit down and read the letters, and easily share and read them to a child.
8. How long does James stay in a location? Are the locations connected to the story?
James stays in a part of the world for 4 months before moving on. References may be made to past locations, but it is not necessary to read his letters from a past location. However, you can buy past letters in addition to your current subscription.
9. What is the Verity Letter Collection?
The Verity Letter Collection is a collection of past letters. Each year is divided into three seasons: Winter, Summer, and Fall. You can buy any seasonal collection or a complete year collection. The collection is to help you catch up on James' current adventure, or help you easily give the letters as a gift.
10. What is your refund policy?
We hope Verity Letters brings enjoyment and inspiration to your life. It is our mission to do everything we possibly can to make your subscription a pleasant experience. However, we do offer refunds for certain circumstances on certain items. Please click on the Refund Policy link at the bottom of the page for further information.
